Welcome to LanguageLunch, New York's most personal and personable provider of language instruction, editorial services, and translation services.

Whatever you desire... French... German... Italian... Mandarin Chinese... Spanish... (and many others), pas de problème, we can cook up a course for you here at LanguageLunch. All classes are in our easygoing, casual setting (or we can come to you), and each and every course is served up by our fluent, professional (yet friendly) instructors.

Our classes at LanguageLunch are muy pequeñas (3-6 students), so you can interact closely with your instructor and fellow students. We serve light refreshments at each LanguageLunch meeting (you are also welcome to bring your own) and provide texts, photocopied materials, visual and audio aids, and supplemental exercises from computer-
based sources to enhance learning and stimulate group
discussion.

Our instructors are seasoned professionals with years of teaching experience. Many have taught languages and literature at universities in the U.S. and abroad, and some have extensive experience in the field of business and legal translation.

Our Mission Statement

        At LanguageLunch, we believe that learning languages is important and beneficial to everyone, regardless of age or ability.  We believe that through learning to communicate in another language, our clients can enrich themselves and their lives.  We try to use progressive methods and fun activities in our classes -- as we say, we are personal and personable -- to teach our students to integrate what they are learning into their lives.  We feel that it is essential to provide a thoughtful, enjoyable, and caring environment where our students can feel comfortable and confident, since we fully realize the challenges involved in learning a new language.  Our group classes are therefore very small and personalized, and we also provide the convenience of private and semi-private lessons, as well as tutoring in subjects beyond the realm of language.  Our classes can be offered offsite, as well as in our offices in Tribeca.  No matter where, when, or what instruction is provided, though, our students' success remains our priority.
